I am very lucky in the job that I have that I can pretty much talk to any Canadian Country Music Star when ever need be. I am very lucky that Johnny Reid and I have hit a good chord, because as busy as he is, we have talked twice this year so far! I say this because there is a new up and comer on the scene, and the last time I heard the name Chad Brownlee it was being called out by the Vancouver Canucks Hockey team at the entry draft. I really like the song Sitting On The Hood Of My Car, so I thought I would give him a call and talk about that and hockey for this year.

Thanks for sticking in with all of the changes on my blog. I promise it will be all done soon and it will be much easier to read and use. I want to get the blog more into the show so I can be more in contact with you via your mobile phone, Twitter, and all this stuff I am quickly learning about...from a 15 year old! He's got braces and more knowledge of the net than I'll ever have! Here's a reward for sticking with me throughout these changes, 2 unedited interviews that I am going to run on my show tomorrow. I really like to bring the stars to you, and you can't get any bigger than my friend Johnny Reid. Today he became the biggest seller on i-tunes in all music categories, and he called me! I can't believe it! Here's what we talked about...

...and just before Johnny called me, I was talking to Deric Ruttan who was at home in Nashville. AVR started playing his new song "That's How I Want To Go Out" just Sunday, and I thought I would take a look at his web page. I found out that Deric has an addiction problem...to real maple syrup, so I had to ask him about that...

I make no secret of it that my buddy Evan Banks is the owner of Limitless Skate and Snow in the Greenwood Mall, and like me he loves to give back to the community. He is currently helping 3 towns develop skate parks or repair the parks they already have. He jumped at the chance to bring in the ES Game Of Skate for the Back 2 School Specials at the Greenwood Mall.

I love to help out rec departments, I think sports is a good way to round out a good education, and Berwick Rec invited me out to throw the first pitch at a charity game so they could try to put at least 1 child how couldn't afford it in hockey, ringette or figure skating.
